With the NAD VM 130i you can add 758K (UHD) image at 4 fps with 60:4:4 color to your NAD T 4, as well as the possibility of adding BluOS, a music management system that frees up your music library. The VM 130i also features the latest HDMI chips, and supports HDCP 2.2, which is required to view 4K content.
Module 4K UHD for T 758
This update incorporates two of the most desired new technologies into a single module that works in all NAD AV MDC products. Not only does it add the possibility of playing content in Ultra High Definition (UHD), but it also adds the option of streaming music over a network, Wi-FI and Bluetooth, allowing you to have up to 64 zones of high-resolution music players compatible with BluOS and have a most advanced multi-room system.
It uses the latest 4K video chipset, supporting 60 frames per second (4K/60 @ 4:4:4) to be compatible with all current and future UHD formats. Many UHD AV receivers still employ slower video processors that limit performance up to 4K/60 at 4/2/0. The VM 130i also includes the latest HDCP 2.2 for access to commercial UHD content. Like previous MDC video modules, NAD has chosen an approach that does not "harm" the video signal without adding or removing anything from it, leaving the frame rate and color space unchanged from input to output. exit. Only the audio signal is extracted for processing and amplification with the latest in high-resolution audio circuitry. The VM 130i is more flexible than ever, with built-in AirPlay 2 for easy integration into the Apple ecosystem.
MDC: Modular Design Construction
NAD's innovative MDC architecture is a highly advanced concept, allowing customers to future-proof their NAD AV receiver or processor with new technology and additional features. NAD introduced MDC in 2006 with advanced HDMI 1.2 digital transfer technology. Subsequent upgrades to HDMI 1.3, HDMI 1.4, and now HDMI 2.0 have kept NAD customers on the cutting edge of technology while protecting their original investment.Hands-free control with Alexa
Add the BluOS voice skill within the Amazon Alexa app and enjoy voice control of your personal music collection, streaming services, and more using simple voice commands. Using an Echo device, you can ask Alexa to play popular songs from Tidal, queue saved playlists, adjust the volume in different rooms, or ask what's playing in the kitchen. Don't have an Echo? No problem. Download the Amazon Alexa app, activate the skill, click on the talk to Alexa button and say any command from the list.BluOS
Add the BluOS upgrade kit, a small device that connects to the USB input of your "BluOS Ready" NAD amplifier or receiver and you can stream all your music with a single, easy-to-use app. Once set up and connected to your Wi-Fi, you can use the BluOS Controller app available on smartphone, tablet, and desktop to play and control lossless music, or group with other BluOS devices, such as Wireless speakers, and add high-resolution sound to any room in your house.Main features of the NAD VM 130i
