DAC design
Thanks to the digital-analog converter (DAC) inside, you can connect the YU2 directly to your computer via USB and bypass the system sound card. The change is instantly noticeable: audio becomes clearer and more detailed, ideal for listening to music, editing video, or simply maintaining quality while streaming. Plus, there's no installation required: just plug it in and it starts sounding better right out of the box.

Outstanding Features from Kanto YU2
Size compact
At just 15cm tall, the YU2 fits comfortably on any desk, but it sounds much bigger than it looks. This makes it ideal for minimalist setups or small rooms where you can't fill the space with speakers. active monitors large. Still, it offers enough volume to work comfortably or enjoy a movie without missing a detail.

Sound balanced
It combines 3-inch Kevlar® woofers with 3/4-inch silk tweeters, and that mix sounds very natural. There's body in the mids, smooth highs, and decent bass for its size. If you add a subwoofer, you can take the sound to the next level. But even on its own, it's surprisingly responsive for such a small size.

If the bass is lacking (it starts at 80 Hz), you can connect a subwoofer through the RCA output included with the active speaker. This allows you to expand the depth of the sound, which is useful if you watch a lot of movies, play games, or work with electronic music. The good thing is that you don't need to change anything; just connect the subwoofer and that's it: more punch without complications.

Amplification Management
The Class D amplifier delivers 50W RMS (and up to 100W peaks), which means enough power for close-quarters listening without distortion. Plus, since it doesn't generate much heat, the speakers remain stable even during long sessions. This helps extend their lifespan and means you won't have to worry about overloads or extraneous noise even when you use them daily.

Connection simple
It has a USB input and a 3.5mm jack, so you can easily connect a computer, a console, or even a portable music player. It doesn't have Bluetooth, but that's offset by less interference and cleaner sound. In everyday use, the physical connection also prevents pairing issues or annoying delays when watching videos.

It includes rubber feet to prevent vibrations on your desk, and the connection terminals are well-finished. It's a piece of equipment designed to last, without unnecessary embellishments. Simple, straightforward, and practical for those who value order and good sound.
