Design and materials acoustic
The 6,5" woofer uses a wood fiber cone, a rigid, lightweight material that reduces resonances and delivers clean midrange. The 28mm soft dome tweeter is larger than usual, helping to lower distortion and deliver smooth highs. The front grille is magnetic and low-profile, designed to blend visually into the ceiling. The assembly fits into a 223mm diameter cutout and requires 102mm of mounting depth.

Outstanding Features Dali Phantom K-60
Answer and bell balanced
Its 51–25.000 Hz range provides extended bass for its size, with detailed midrange and controlled highs. The sound signature is neutral and pleasant, suitable for both music and film. The 87 dB sensitivity allows for good volume levels at moderate power levels without straining the amplifier.

Ceiling mount simple
The dogleg mounting system (tilting brackets) speeds up installation on drywall or wood: tighten the screws and the tabs secure the speaker to the panel. The included cutting template helps you mark the opening precisely. It's a good idea to check the available 102 mm depth and keep the space clear for wiring. Even tightening prevents vibrations and ensures firm contact with the ceiling.

Coverage and directivity
The woofer is optimized for off-axis performance, meaning it sounds balanced even if you're not standing directly behind it. The tweeter is swivel-mounted, so you can direct the highs toward the main listening area to enhance vocal clarity and detail. This combination provides a wide soundstage, useful in rooms where listening positions vary.

Controls
It includes EQ dials to tailor the response to the room. In reverberant spaces, slightly attenuating the treble can reduce the feeling of excessive brightness. In very saturated rooms, a neutral or slightly boosted setting restores presence to vocals. These settings allow for fine-tuning without the need for an external processor.

Back case recommended
The optional PHANTOM K rear enclosure (5–50 L) improves bass extension and makes the sound more consistent between rooms. It also helps limit sound transmission to adjacent floors and protects the speaker from dust in the suspended ceiling. Small volumes provide control and clarity; larger volumes deliver more bass. If no enclosure is used, performance will depend on the ceiling plenum volume.

Works well with amplifiers Between 40 and 150 W per channel. Its nominal impedance is 6 Ω, a common value for built-in speakers that most AV receivers and stereo amplifiers handle without difficulty. The sensitivity of 87 dB allows for comfortable listening levels in medium-sized rooms. If multiple units are connected per channel, it's a good idea to check the total load to ensure the amplifier doesn't exceed the minimum impedance allowed.
