RD stands for ‘Reduced Depth’, meaning the Bowers & Wilkins CCM663RD will fit into tighter spaces than the standard CCM663. A shallower cone and redesigned QuickDogs surround reduce the depth to a more practical 92mm, whilst retaining everything that makes the CCM663 in-ceiling speaker so great.
The familiar but discreet dark blue Kevlar cone of the bass/midrange driver delivers stunningly detailed and clean response. This, combined with the pivoting aluminum dome tweeter for adjustable off-axis treble response and a three-position EQ, make this one of the most versatile installation speakers available.
If preferred, the supplied round grille can be replaced with the optional square grille for the CCM663.
